You could compare quality of interiors (American cars are infamous for shitty interiors). In addition, German engines are almost always better tuned (they usually have higher output for less displacement).

German cars were designed to run on highways with no speed limits, for example the Autobahn, so by nature the design and build quality has to be higher. For the Germans there is nothing else you should be doing when you are behind the wheel other than driving. They take pride in makeing a purely drivers car, which is why it was very rare to see even a cup holder in German cars until the American market demanded it.

Try use examples of some older German cars, back when they wern't in direct competition with American cars. There are many things that have caused companies that overlook certain aspects of there cars in recent years due to the need to offer a competative price.

You can't really compare race cars, because they are so different from the production cars we see on the road. It is common to see a Corvette dominating the endurance races with other Ferrari's and Lamborghini's on the track, however we all know that the real cars are not even comparable. It is one thing to put all of your design and manufacturing prowess in to a race car, but all that really matters is how much of that technology finds its way into the companies road cars. If race results were an accurate depiction of the best car, then you are trying to prove a point for the wrong country because that would be Italy.

I wouldn't take it that far.. But I would say they hold a higher standard to looks and quality by using more expensive products

The E30 M3 is STILL the winningest touring car in history.

Audi consistently wins LeMans for the past...what, 4 years now?

BMW and Audi are in constant battle in the Speed World Challenge.

I think we've given you more than enough information to work with.

Take the given info and do some research on YOUR OWN.

You'll have more than enough material once you're done doing some actual work.

I could talk about the domination of Audi in the LeMans series ALONE for at least 20 minutes.

Then comparing it to American entries would be another 10 minutes.

It's not hard to talk about something you love. Maybe you should have picked another topic.

If it's a persuasive speech, you don't need to actually prove it. You just need to PERSUADE your audience into agreeing with your point of view.
