The other pictures I saw did not look good at all, BUT those don't look that bad. I kinda like it. I think the E46 looked better though.

Looks sort of like a Evo VIII at that angle, not to my taste, E46 or tricked out E36 anyday over that piece.

lo its funny...everyone puts down the new designs of the BMW..yet thats all u see on the road..the New 5'ers and 7's and 6's...i dunno..i kinda like it...makes it unique..

For all the detractors, the same thing about the E36 when it first came out. Same for the E46 when it came out as well.

Nothing new.

In a few months (or maybe years) people will grow accustomed to it and maybe even like/love the new look. Hell, it took me 2 years to start liking the new 7. I HATED the thing when it first came out. Now I think it looks so hot.

No doubt I'll get used to seeing them and maybe like the 3 someday, like the new 5 (hated it, now not that bad), but a car shouldn'ty be liked because it grows on you, it should blow you out of the water with a "Behold my radiance" type of look, Mercs and Audis are doing that BMW's just are not IMO.

Im not so sure about the big bulging line down the side of the car doors, but the rest looks nice.

At least the new 7 was distinctive, albeit different. the z4 was different, they had no resemblances to anything else on the market (IMHO) but this looks like a bit of a number of sedans out in the market.
