I can't believe I didn't post this yet, I was in Baghdad last yea for a 6 month tour. We escorted Iraqis on to the American bases to do work, and my wonderful job was sitting outside a gate all day waiting for the workers.

Anyways, one morning we went out there and there was this BMW parked, we were a little nervous with strange cars (car bombs....that kind of crap) so we asked the Army guards there why it was parked there. He said it was Saddam's cousins car, I was like BS! Sure enough in the window there was still the shipping document. Turns out that Saddam's cousin is the one who turned in Saddams sons and he was at our base to identify the bodies and accept his $60mil in reward money.

It was gone a few days later, I hear they flew him (Saddam's cousin) to an European country of his choice, and with $60mil in reward money I am sure the least of his worries was a 525i

I don't think we have to worry too much about giving that much money to him. He will be watched every day of his life from that point on, we will tell him it is for "his protection" but really we are trying to make sure he doesn't take that money and use it against us.
