Greetings from Norwalk Connecticut!

Today is my first day onboard here in Norwalk with the team at Speed Technik. After a fantastic Summer off, it was time to get back to business, and after fending off constant employment advances from shop owner Mitchell Frischer, he finally made me an offer that I could not refuse. While I am honestly feeling a bit homesick due to being 250 miles from my home and friends, I am sure that there will be a period of acclimation as with any new job.

DTM Power and Speed Technik have been closely associated since the shop opened almost two years ago, when I and a few of the New England forum members covered the event. If you are in the area, feel free to stop in and say "hi." We are an established full service performance tuning facility that also offers superior car audio installations that feature the best products on the market.

I took a few pics to commemorate my first day on the job, and here they are - Now I have to go get back to work.

The dark blue 944 in the showroom? It's just about done, now that the GT35R turbo has been installed it is just awaiting a few more goodies and it's on.

damn nice rides. so what do you do there? and do you commute from home or you moved to ct permanently?

I didn't know Speed Technik does 12Volt. Do me a favor if you would, Ask Mitchell if he would be interested in being an Xtant or MTX dealer.

I am looking for a few new dealers in CT, and if he is selling JL and Focal, Xtant and MTX compliment them well.

I am retaining the house in North Andover for now and getting a little place near the shop, and plan on commuting back and forth for a while. And I have no title - no one here does. I am just going to be helping out in whatever capacity I can. And driving a few cars here and there.

I would like to personally welcome Chris (CMT) to the Speed Technik team. As we are rapidly growing and expanding, I know that Chris will bring a great deal of value to our business. Chris will be keeping everyone here posted of upcoming events, new product releases, and the ultimate assembling of some of the most powerful, reliable, and innovative BMW performance products and upgrade packages.

We are very excited to have Chris' M3 join the rest of the Speed Technik arsenal. In fact, it is the second DTM Power M3 in our hands. This should prove to be an interesting and exciting Winter for us, as we have already commenced the total reconstruction of Dado's M3.

His car is undergoing dramatic changes at the hands of Hugh Stewart, of Speed Technik Motorsports. Hugh is the fabricator, builder, tuner, and driver of the #34 E36 Sedan raced this past season in Speed Vision Touring Car. Hugh has also spent the last fifteen years building and tuning Volkswagens, Porsches, Audis, and virtually every other marque, and I am confident saying that his experience is virtually unparallaled in just about anything automotive-related.

Next season we will be campaigning several Dodge SRT-4's, and we currently have one built and ready for testing, with the second en route from Dodge.
