Engine swap opinions.

What would you guys think about the skyline in engine in a 240Z? If you can think of others like sr20det let me know. This has a potential of happening in a couple years.

my friend has a rb25det in his car already and runs fine so it works and its only like 300 more then the sr20

edit- oops just notice you said 240z, there is a 240z in japan with a vq35 i think its call, its the twin turbo v6 engine that inside the mx35 here, or is it a v8, i forget, but its bad as hell ill search around for the links

one of the import tuning magazines from august/september 2003 had an article in it where they did that, im at school now so i don't know the exact magazine/issue, but i'm going home in a few days and i'll look it up for u, prob won't be able to find it till saturday though, sorry.

thats cool, ill take it whenever. kinda sad if the original engine in it has gone to hell (been sitting for the better part of a decade)....but it will be fun to see it haul some ass once its reborn.

there was a 280z on ebay a few months back with an rb25 in it. car was a full race car located somewhere up north. i have pics at home so ill post when i get there.
