| So maybe i could import something like a 89 M5 into canada, then month later bring it home. Do you think it would work, i know someone who lives in Canada.

| 25? I have heard 15 years for the states also, but alot depends on the car I believe. It depends what you are bringing over. Like I could go buy a used Volvo 1999 or any year 5-speed and bring it back from canada. And I think you can bring cars that are 15 years old over if they were not here in the states then, but you might have to do some modding. Me and some guys were looking at what it would take to get an R32 GTR to the states. And all we were going to have to do is make it fit the standards of safety. Mainly strengthen the door frames, and change the glass out, those were the two major things. |

| Here's my situation, i wanna bring a E30 M3 over but it will cost 12 grand to make it within safety regulations and the reason i would like ot buy one here is cause they're alot cheaper. Like i've been seeing E36's for under 10 grand with 70k miles or so. and E30 M3s under 2grand |
