| i need opinions about BMW next year well next year I think I wanna add another BMW to the stable. I narrowed down my choices to 3. E32 735i, 635CSi, or an E34 535i. I want something M30 powered and larger than my E30. Better for highway trips, school is about 2 hours away. I already have my E30 to toss around. Out of the 3 which would you pick? Im leaning towards the 635CSi the most because its rare, unique and has 2 doors. I was thinking about 750iL but the V12 running costs are prohibitive and not much room to work in there. Well what do you think guys? Any other suggestions? I have been educating myself a lot about the 6er, parts are the same as an E28. I love the look of the E32, 1995 740i's are getting down in price but I dont think one for $5500 is a good one. |

| well thats 2. My uncle had a 1988 635CSi, made me fall in love with BMW. It was zinnobar too like my E30. I wouldnt mind a Zinnobar E24, would look nice parked next to my E30. But I hope the paint is well kept because it tends to turn pink if its original. |

| yeah definately go the 6er. and if you can be arsed hunt around and find a manual one as well. they're pretty rare but they are around. but yeah 635CSi's are just pure porn

| a 1988 or 89 with a 5-speed, thats a tall order. I prefer the later models because of the 208hp engine and smaller bumpers. however they came with the self leveling rear suspension. I can just replace those with some regular bilsteins anyway. |

| i spose if its going to be more of a highway cruiser then it doesn't really matter if its a manual or auto. you've got the e30 to flog the crap out of so i guess its not really all that important

| Any of those cars are good highway cruisers, the 7 being the best highway cruiser.. well cause its a boat. You can't go wrong with the M30 engine though thats for sure. That engine will last to 400k miles if you keep up with the maintenence.
