How many pink slips (tickets) do YOU have in your car??

I have 3... I got pulled because someone called me in for doing in excess of 100 mph... i was only goin 120 or so! anyway, they stationed a cop to catch me, but i caught him on my radar and slowed down, but he pulled me anyway and gave me a ticket for registration and inspection being out... SHIT!

The second time I got pulled 2 weeks later on my way to dinner with a date and I had her in the car when I got pulled, I had her thinking I was going to jail, it was kinda funny! Anyway, the cop doubled up on me and gave me a ticket for registration, inspection, AND Excess of speed... but that was kinda cool cause he said he paced me at 73 in a 55 so I got off on that one kinda easy.

So I guess it's really 5 tickets on 3 sheets of paper... So how about you guys?!?

Hheheh I had some pink slips, but I threw them out of sight lol. One time some douchebag decided to call the sheriff on me for doing 100mph on his empty street. It was a near perfect straightaway too. Well when the sheriff called he was giving me all these stupid questions. Anyways he couldn't do s**t because both him and I were out of sight of each other. But he did tell me that if he ever see's me speeding in that county again, he'll get me in trouble.....bs bs....that was back when I had my other car, wonder if he'll recognize me now:-)

i got a two in one the other night, the bastard pulled me over for having my licence plate light out and then gave me a ticket for that and improper display of front licence plate, then he said his computer was out so he'd mail me the ticket, what a douchebag. (i was driving my 1991 prelude becasue the bimmer is in the shop after the accident )

Midnight Shark, I got the current registration, i just didnt have it on me at the time. As for the instpection, I had to save up because I have a full Supersprint exhaust system (headers, resignator, and cat-back) so I was throwing about 8 check engine lights and i couldnt pass the OBDII reader. Anyway, I tried cheating the system but couldnt and ended up getting tickets while i was waiting to do so. Finally I shelled out the money for simulators for the airpump and O2 sensors since i dont have cats anymore. With that and some other tune-ups I finally passed the day before my court date.

I did the same thing as you did. I guess some people didnt care for my driving habits that day. He goes I know you were doing way over 80 before you saw me. Goes back to his car and comes and hands me a 80 in a 65 ticket. I smiled and signed the ticket. After I signed it I said thank you. In a nice way he smiled and walked away. I paid the ticket $127.50. Im coming up on almost 1 year ticket free! Couldve have been worse!

My other ticket was for 70 in a 55 acouple of years ago. That only cost me $65 bucks. Both tickets were in MN.

damn, if the guy didnt pace you i think you could have gotten out of that one. So far I've been pulled 24 times and havent gotten a single ticket to go on my record.

He did pace me. I forgot to say it. I went 80-85 the rest of the way home. I know you can fight pacing tickets. My insurace rates havent gone up. Two tickets in 7 years of driving aint that bad. So basicly im throwing $27.50 away each year.

I always worry about the next ticket. If I do get one Im going to fight it. Im getting sick of donating money to Minnasota Sheriffs Department.

Dont tickets fall off your record? or do they always stick there?

i just got a ticket for going 70 in a 45, but this time i was actually innocent. The cop just saw my car excelerate and assumed i was speeding. Heres the deal tho, my radar detector didnt go off (escort 8500), do u guys think its possible to get hit with laser and not detect it at all? I know the guy was full of shit, and i was going to fight it but i just dont have them time. . .so the Rockwall PD is now $230 richer
