Daily Driver Dilema

Need help. I am frantic over a new car. Please, pricing sounds strange here but I cannot decide what I want. I really like the new scion Xb's. I would love to get one in black and totally pimp it out. I also would like a red E36 M3 but the winter and all its a tough car to roll in. I am considering E46 M3's and 330ppi and perhaps an M5 but with the purchase of a house around the corner these cars scare me. So... ignore your biased tendencies for a moment and share with me what the heck I should do. Everyday I struggle with the thought. I hate my corrolla type S for a daily driver. I swere to god I don't know why I bought it. I hate the car but it gets the best gas mileage ever. I put 10,000 miles every 3 months on the cars so I have to consider that. Thanks

great gas milage, good torque, european quality, rides nice, handles nice, and its pretty reliable.

What about the Scion tC? It's a nice little runabout.

Or dare I say, a Civic? For a daily driver you really can't go wrong with that.

1987 honda accord, reliable, cheap to maintain and insure. hardly ever breaks down.

The 80s early 90s hondas are cheap to maintain, but a scion sounds good.

maybe if you are considering a Japanese car a 240SX or something of the sort. MKII MR2 maybe too, not so good for the snow but whatever. I agree with everyone though, civic accord, you cant go wrong with one of those.

just get a toyota corolla, the only TLC it needs is change the oil once a year.

I think its looking like E46 or E36 M3 right now. I want to start looking for a lower mileage (40,000-50,000) Red, Black, or White 2D or 4D with Modena interior. If you guys see something, let me know.

I think a scion XB decked out on 17's with a ton of ICE would be major sick. Plus, I really want an automatic car. I am so sick of slow manual cars. Its not entertaining.

I am considering like an M3 cab. That would be major fun to pimp in but my mind is so geared for strict performacne I doubt I could make that leap unless it was a benz. I hate these decisions. Some days I think it would be okay to have a car payment other I want a 92 accord without.

I'm with tdc on the Scion tC. If you need something more spacious, I hate to say it but the new Accord and TL are both practical and quick. Lastly, maybe a G35 with awd or an A4 would both be good all weather contenders.

Get a good economy car and a house.
Id go with a VW TDI still a classy car in my opinion and a great car for the starting off owning a home kinda guy.
Im in my 5th year at school and one more year i'll be out into the workforce. Cars have always been my love since I could read but they take money to obtain. I would much rather spend that 50 grand as a nice downpaymet on a 200-300 thousand dollar home than go with a 60 thousand dollar car and have to make rent payments with nothing to show for in 10 years.

My vote something affordable for the car and than get the home and make that nice. Hey you can always splurge with a few flatscreens
