Remus Exhaust Question

i called bav auto and talked to a man about a Remus cat back for my car and he told me that the Remus is a glass pack and it gets louder with use. Is this true? And how many dif. E36 cat backs does remus make?

i have a Remus cat back on my 96 318ti (won it at 2003 Bavauto show & shine )and ive noticed it sounds deeper than when i installed it about 6mo ago. i think they do make a few different models. hopes this helps
