X3 questions

The X3 has the AWD thing and when you press the DSC button it has the little icon on the guage with a triangle and a arrow line thingy going around it, but it also says 4X4 under it...what does that mean?

dynamic stability control, when that triangle lights up it means you're on your own if lose control.

But is it still awd or is it rwd when i press the button

AWD, DSC just works in conjunction with the brakes to apply them before you lose tracton. I think it works something like that. The X Drive stuff is pretty kool tho.

X drive is a little different - goes one step beyond total throttle limiter at the edge of traction and/or individual brake control. X drive actually sends different amounts of power to all 4 wheels. When you press that button-to the best of my knowledge, the variable power transfer features of X drive; along with the other stability controls, are disabled.
