how much heat can a v1 radar take?

i drive to work, park and leave the car for hours on end..

if i forget to take the radar device off, i come back and its really hot.. is that safe for it? obviously it wont help it, but should i take it off everyday? all the time??

will it eventually have an electronic problem?

It is a $400 piece of electronic equipment held on by suction cups, kindly remove it from your windshield and put it under your seat.

To answer your question: Heat will harm your V1.

Yeah, just take it off. BTW: Always remember to roll up your windows also when you leave your car. My friend got his radar detector stolen a while ago.

I put mine up high out of the sun buy the reirview, behing the Teck banner, then I have the v1 adapter behind my steering wheel. It does not get any sun.
No matter what even if you take it off it's still going to get hot in the car, but keep it of direct sunlight
