Arrow Valentine 1/"Radar Detectors" -- Worth it?

Is it worth $300 for a Valentine 1? I pretty much believe that they work but do they only catch laser traps and whatnot? I assume for $400 new they better damn not only work but work well, but what do you guys think about them?

i have the new passport X-50 which has 50% more range then the old one. so that means it has about 10%+ range on the V1. plus it has better circuitry and more laser sensitivity. and you can get them for 260. from 760list on this site. this is the best detector out there now, the only thing the V1 has on it is just the arrows. and idk about anyone else but when i get a warning from this machine i dont care where its coming from i just slow down.

Once you use the V1 arrows, you won't go back. Just having the arrows has saved me before...when you think you pass the radar and it is still up ahead of you, its worth it.

he's got a point. but look at who you're talking to. and not to mention what thread you're in. we're the type of guys that see the red light... and figure it's a race to get there first

Last week i was cruising down some back road at 75 or so and the speed limit was 50. My V1 went lit up after coming around a big bend and i slammed on the brakes. next thing I knew I sheriffs cars came up over the following hill. It saved my ass for sure that time and his has plenty of others too. DOn't waste you money and driving points on any thing else.
