Hello, 1st post here...
I live in Pensacola, FL and me and a few friends knew the Bullrun was coming through this area just yesterday. News was, they were leaving Nawlins (New Orleans) around 8 and heading towards Tampa. So we sat on I-10 from 9 until around noon waiting for them. Well, noon came around and we left. 4 hours fron N.O. should ahve been PLENTY of time. Somehow, we thought, we had missed them. well, as we were sitting at McD's eating right off the interstate, a friend of mine heading west said he had seen them about 20 miles away heading our direction. We immediately got back into the cars and proceeded to find these bandits! We caught up with a Lamborghini Murcielago (beautiful, just frickin beautiful), a Ferrari 360 Modena (wow), a Ferrari Modena Stradalle (holy shit!), a Bently droptop, a BMW M3 droptop (just for you guys, he had 2 hotties with him, imagine that), and some punkass in his grandmothers Mercede's from CA that insisted he must run me off the road. Guess he was jealous we didn't wanna film his ordinary grandma car among all the exotics, asshole.
Anyway, I tried my best to get some of these guys to play but they didn't seem too willing. The lambo got on it some, the Stradalle rolled up his window when I blew off on him, the yellar 360 Modena was cool but decided not to play, and the Mercedes...well, he was a jackass.
here's the story about the Mercedes so I can be fair. I was behind the Lambo and he was on it and I was on it. He approached traffic, hit his brakes, and so did I. The mercedes was approaching me at a high rate of speed when I did this and had to swerve to miss me, his fault, not mine. So, that pissed him off, he flicked me off, yelled some kind of bullshit that I couldn't hear at 100+ mph and became, the JACKASS of the group. Later on, I was coming up behind him, switched lanes and he cut me off. Ok, whatever. So, I pass them all on the shoulder to get some more footage. Well, they all go by me again and I wanna get towards the front for more footage again. He gets in my way again, yes it's HIGHLY intentional. SO....I hit the shoulder again as I'm coming up on him quickly, he pulls into the shoulder to block me almost forcing me off the road into the grass/mud area (it had been raining for days).
Anyway, he is now...THE jackass
Later on we caught up with an SRT-10 viper, my cars big brother (I drive a modified 03 Dodge SRT-4, dont hate). He shares respect back to me as I give him a thumbs up and rev on him. Nice cars.
Then, the Porsche 911 Turbo comes our way....nice!!!!!!
We play with him for quite a bit, racing back and forth, high speed runs, etc. He has a camera system on his dash, on the back glass, etc. He wants to film me. Ok, so we do a high speed run. I get up to about 150mph before I shut it down. Just then we notice there's a helicopter with us. Oh shit! So, I take the next exit and that was the end of my Bullrun experience.
