Guys PLEASE HELP ME!!!!! A/c Problem

I was driving in my 95 m3 in traffic today and my a/c just stopped working.. It blew hot air after since.. Does the compressor go bad on this cars or maybe it's just some switch that when bad? Please help I need cold air it's tooooo hot.

It is possible many things could have hapoened. You may have just run out of freon. any shop can look and tell you wat is wrong.
