Buying Eisenmann exhaust - help please

Hey, I think im going to get an eisenmann race DTM tips. I was wondering how this compares to UUC and stuff. Is it unbearably loud? Im just looking for something thats good and sounds good (not too loud). I heard AA exhaust was good sounding. Any opinions?

You can't go wrong with Eisenmann. I have never heard one on an e36 in person but I would venture to say that its not as loud as the UUC

i have an eisenmann on my 325is and had one on my old m3. the sound is absolutley incredible. by far the best sounding exhaust there is. as for the sound, it is really throaty and deep. however it will wake the neighbors. regardless, go with the eisenmann. it'll put a smile on your face everytime you start the car and give it gas.

I heard UUC gets annoing after a while b/c its unbearable, will eisenmann do the same? Is it real loud in the low rpms?

The UUC Twin silencer is a bit loud. About the same level as the Rogue or the Tri-flo. IMHO it is too much for the daily driving but it really depends on your personal tolerence. I would avoid them if you go the bars as they will attact unwanted attention. AA is too quite IMHO.

The Eisenmann exhaust offers 3 varying levels of sound/performance. I have the middle level and the exhaust is fantastic. Louder than stock so I can hear it but it does not drone or get annoying for long trips. A nice feature of the exhaust is when it is cold it's not too loud, as it gets warmed up the sound increases.

I would tell you hear the exhausts for yourself to get a real guage of what they are like relative to the others.

I noticed your in Rockville, your more than welcome to hear my exhaust and go for a ride to see if it's something you will like. You can also go to a BMW CCA autoX and hear a wide variety of exhaust as most manufacturers (of exhausts) are represented.

Hey, I was going to order an Eisenmann Exhaust to untill I heard my friends Borla. It sounds just the same to me and about $100 cheaper.
