Is it worth it selling your car on Ebay?

My dad might want to sell his truck. But he wants to put it on ebay. I'm not really sure on selling a car on ebay. I rather put it on the autotrader.

I want to know if anyone had any experience on selling or buying a car on ebay. Is it a good idea?

What do you guys recommend? sell it on ebay or autotrader or other?

I heard that you have to give Ebay a percentage of the total sale when you sell a car on ebay, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

I'd like to know too...cuz if I do end up selling the A4..it might make its way onto Scam-bay.

For cars ebay has a flat rate not a percentage like other items.

I say go for it but set a reserve price that you are comfortable with. What is nice is that online the price will set itself. You get a larger more informed audience.

So make sure you are realistic in your price expectations. People who buy on ebay( especially cars) know hwo to do their research.

well i think (THINK) you can list on autotrader and ebay and put a disclaimer on the ebay listing saying you reserve the right to end the auction early for a local sale or something of the sort.

My friend sold his Cobra on Ebay, took him over a month, maybe 2 to finally get his money. Of course there are probably better ways of selling it than the way he did
