| Black looks like ass on the E36 M3 (I have owned '95 M3's in black & red), if you want a high-maintinance color that looks like crap with the slightest bit of dirt (but looks awesome 5 minutes after a detail) go for black. I would stick to hellrot, dakar, estoril - it is a sportscar afterall, what is the sense of normal colors like white, black, etc.?

![]() You could only buy an automatic E36 M3 coupe in 1995 - if you don't know facts there is no reason to make them up... ![]()

| What's New for 1997 To the delight of sports car enthusiasts who need the practicality of four doors, BMW releases a sedan version of the M3. Identical to the coupe in virtually every respect, the M3 sedan is available with either a five-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission. Note that the coupe is no longer available with the automatic. from edmunds.com |
