| Wasn't there a sighting like a year ago on some flatbed where a dude took pics of an M5 before getting bitched at by the driver? I believe in that pic the car had simply massive brakes on it, the rears looked as large as the current front brakes. As long as the car has other elements missing from it (taped up vents, etc) I doubt these are the production brakes. After all you can hide every other performance fact about the car as long as you keep the hood shut and the car off, but just sitting there you can obviously see the brakes - I think they knew this.
