| 2005 e46 m3 with a v8?? I heard that the e46 m3 will have a v8 within a year or two. Has anyone else heard anything about this??      |

| that sounds correct with the new m5 getting bumped up to the v10 it only seems right and fun to give that little baby a V8 with hopefully around what the m5 is putting out now can't wait...

| Only rumours right now. And it technically isn't the E46. The new 3-series will be debuting in 2005 and I believe the engineering code is either E90, E91, or E92 or a combination thereof.

| Last I checked the 2005 models are released in the 2004. So, I don't think there will be a 2005 M3 (unless it's an E46 still). Takes a bit after the basic 3er before the M3 out. BMW has had no indications of what the next M3 will hold (hell, there haven't even been any spy shots of an actual development car). So, even saying it's going to be a V8 is a bit of a stretch. We have NO idea about any part of the next M3. -Prince |

| i cant even begin to talk about that, i feel like they stabbed the m3 in the back...lol its kind of like the new s4, sick as hell but i dont see it as anything special such as the last s4, they simply dropped the a8 4.2 in it

| cuz theyr impatient F**ks thas why, i hate em all. at least the engine dept. they cant mess with edit- actually i believe it has something to do with making them more rare
