| How should I get my foot in the door of BMW? I'm obsessed with BMWs, obviously like you all are... I really want to goto my local dealership www.richmondbmw.com but I'm unsure what to apply for or to do... Im 20 years old, with little mechanical experience... I've had a lot of customer service jobs, and sales jobs.. Even if I could be a janitor for BMW, it'd be a start.. I'm not sure what to do... Should I just go up there and tell someone this, or should I apply for a detailer or front desk clerk or... ugh, I dunno, I need help

| do what im doing, go to UTI, take auto technology and do well and get into the BMW STEP program, this is what my goal is. I actually got a letter from BMW NA that said do well and we will take you. But I dont see why they wouldnt let you work at the parts department but for selling and servicing they like to have some training. |

| Just apply as an entry level lube dude. Or you could look to the independant shop. I used to turn wrenches at an indipendant BMW Porsche shop in Charlottesville. Love the cars hate the owners (for the most part) |
