| I think what they might be doing here is using the next Z06's engine. I doubt this is an LS6 in it since it's a larger displacement much like the new corvettes.

| I think it was Feb. 2004 that car and driver said that the cts-v would beat both the ///M3 and ///M5, because when they unveiled it, they said that the 0-60 time was like 4.5, 4.6, or something less than the ///M3. In March they took a ///M3, ///M5, and the cts-v to a track. The Chevy did very poorly, and they (what looked like to me) started to make excuses, oil this, tire pressure that. So while merc may have caught up with ///Ms with there E and S AMG (until the new ones come out). GM had to try a little harder next time. PS here is the link to the article were the ///Mz win: http://www.caranddriver.com/article....&page_number=1 |

| I think the CTS-V is a great car. And I'm not worried one bit about anyone overthrowing the M5 as THE sports sedan. BMW invented the term and everyone still uses them as the standard to which they strive to beat.

| ... that car is absolutely gorgeous. I'm speechless. Even though it may not be able to beat a good ///M that doesn't mean it's a bad car or a slow one at that. You know it's a GM power plant, there's going to be forced induction for that thing within 6 months of it's release. |
