That would be nice if my S2000 was stock. But it's not, so reserve the comments on my car. Also. The S2000 is not a fast car by any means. But you know what. My car was only $33K, and with mods mine is $40K and will blow away the Boxster, Boxster S, and 911 Carrera from a roll. All that and still saving $10K on what the boxster costs. I think for over $50,000 it should be a little faster. If you disagree with that then you're an overpaying idiot. Sorry.

actually, Used boxsters can be had for significantly less than used S2000s. you can pick up a Boxster S for about the same price....I know which I'd rather have

You're right. A used 1997 boxster costs less than an S2000. But it's actually the boxster S that's power and performance matchese the S2000. But any boxster pre-99 is quite underpowered esp. for the displacement. Also, buying a 50,000+ mileage Porsche is pretty stupid... especially considering that Boxsters are a higher percentage of daily drivers than the 911.
