E36 328ispt pkg. or E30 M3

should i keep my 328i with sport package and all of its 109xxx miles or find a good condition E30 M3 if i can and trade. the only quams i have with my car is that it is white and auto. i def need 5spd and i would like either red, blue, black or even silver. i was just gunna let u be my decidin factor i can trust u guys right haha

Remember the 15K rule. A well sorted E30 M3 will cost you 15K by the time your done.

You will DEFINITELY NOT make out a little. Your car is definitely not worth as much as an e30 m3 anymore. E30 M3 prices have been rising or holding strong at atleast the $15k mark for a nice example for the past few years.

An auto 328i is also not faster than an e30 m3, not to mention what the e30 is capable of in "spirited" driving and handling, overall weight, and weight distribution.

My wife's 328IS 5 speed with a 3.15L/S is not faster than my car. I have driven both HARD and her car runs out of steam at 6k rpm. The M is still climbing at that point. It's close in a straight line drag race but the M will own in the twisties.

The M3 is a bear in traffic, no torque. But boy does she put a big assed on my face on an empty road, or the track.

yea thats why i want one, the looks and the handling capabilities. so i should save a little now cause i prob have to end up owing if i go through with it. thanks for the comments guys.

just remember the E30 will not be like your 328i. The E30 is a solid chasis but the E30 M3 is a racing car tamed for the street. Make sure you want to drive a car like this everyday. An E30 325i is more suited to daily driving than the E30 M3 because of its more useable powerband and cheaper parts. Hell I want an E30 M3 in a few years before they are all gone. But the E30 M3 will cost more to maintain than the E36. An engine rebuild will run upwards of $5k. Also the E30 m3 has nothing in common with other E30s except the windsheild, hood and interior. Not trying to make u change ur mind but just make sure you know what you are getting into.

yea no no its cool. id rather have all the facts so i know what im gettin in to. but yea i would looove the stiff chasis because i want that sporty feel. thats why im think E30 M3 cause it looks sporty and it rides sporty. i would never get sick of that feeling tho. i know most say that i will and that they have but i think that i just get happier the more i have it. theres something about them that i just cant shake tho and i feel i need one to be complete(starting to sound like a phsyco now i know)haha but idk we'll see what happens.

well its just interesting because nothing else is like them, I want one in any color except silver and then put some 16 inch or 16 inch BBS RS on it :-) i just think silver looks funny on an E30 M3.

yea well what do u think insurance would cost me. its 4200 right now on my 328i.

im not sure, it varies from company to company. also what kind of coverage and how many miles you will drive it. I cant see it being much more than an E30 325is. I pay $550 a year to insure my car.

well thats for full coverage and id prob be driving about 17000 or less a year. 550 what kind of coverage do u have?? if thats my payment then shit the money ill save to make my car faster then dados haah yea right.
