Looking to purchase a 2002

So I've been in love with the classic 2002 forever, and am looking to purchase one that seems to be in pretty good condition for the price ($1500). However it wont start unless it's jumped. Does anybody on here have any idea what kind of problem the car might have and how easy it may be to fix it, or maybe direct me to a forum where people might know? Thanks!

is the battery good? and while the people at roadfly may be pricks occasionally they do know their 2002 tech, theres not really much around here

check to see if the battery is ok, and if its a new battery or a good one then see if there is fucked up wire hooked up to that.
