Solo S2 detector

Hey people. Im lookin to buy a Solo S2, I decided to go with this over teh V1 to save myself $100 and to keep my car clear of wires etc... (so i can hide it easy w/o a trace). Do any of you recommend this? Have any of you used it? Is it worth $260? Overall im asking should I buy a solo S2 or eyelids for my ellipsoid w/angel eyes O BTW, im not gonna be doing some reckless driving yet (i know im not experianced enough to be all out racing at 100+ mph)

I have used the solo and I will admit that It is nice to use and look at. I just question the auto power off feature and how exactly it operates. The corded is much stronger in pick up...compared to any cordless...but the solo is good. Have you considered Driect Wiring a V1 or Passport? They have some pretty nice kits available that work very well and keep the clutter off. Let me know If you really want one and I can save you quite a bit off reatil.
