| I have driven a car before, haha. I know how to drive in snow and rain. IM not gonna be racing in either so i think ill be alright. If i have any time im thinking of taking classes for racing. how long would one last? 1 day? 2 days? I don't really have the time. |
| ||||
| Im just wondering, if your not going to race it or any thing like that why would you want to spend the money on putting turbos in it or any other big mods like that? ![]()

| yeah good question.. but i did say i wouldnt race it in the snow or rain. Im pretty sure i wont be racing it on a track, who knows. ill drag race on the street and do whatever on the street. The point of putting a turbo in is to have the speed. even if i didn't race it i would still want to go fast to wherever i had to go. |

| Let me just some up my past post to make sure IMO what I am saying If you are not going to the track seriously or auto-X a lot NOT just the one or two weekends type of thing. Then just get the E46 and LEAVE it stock it is fast enough for anyone, not just because you're 17 but is it fast enough and so is the E36. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- If it just going to be your daily driver get the E46 leave it stock and keep the rest of the money for upkeep, you'll need it. If you are going to have to scramble for money to upkeep the car; don't get it. Or Get the E36 you'll see it is fast enough stock and save/invest the rest of that money, your young and you will thank yourself later. Look at the money issues then test drive both before trying to think about either option either way enough said....stop driving yourself mad about this go and test drove both and look at the $ situation = your answer. Relax...take it slow and make a good choice your car should 1. Be fun, 2. Be what you want, 3. Not a headache (that’s what a girlfriend is for lol)

| a mustang? where the fuck did that come from. A M3 is the right car for me. it wont be my daily driver ill have something else for that. I joined the navy, thats where i plan on getting the money for this. If its enough money for an E46 M3? barely. So im thinking the E36 would be a better choice. Would save me a lot of money so i can use it on beer and girls and mods. I wont be spending my money on anything else accept for what i just said. |

| You want to know some bullshit...I can insure my E66 or E65 brand new chaper than getting an M. When talking with my insurance rep he said that those cars were made to speed and they don't like to insure them over the regular BMW's. I was like "What BMW was made to go slow" (he drives a Caddy DTS so he doesn't know BMW to well.) Make sure you can insure a E46 before you buy. Insurance can set back that nice set of BBS rims you may want to get.

| lol that is so true though when I sold my 325is and got my M3 and went to my agent I was like good thing I was sitting in a chair lol....it was in their highest insurance bracket, yay haha. Everyone is like so what are you going to get done to it and I feel like saying pay the insurance bills on time plus I'm really a upkeep whore somethine goes wrong its in to get it fixed.....But I love the car and it is well worth the extra insurance, the comments from valet and ladies make it all worth it ![]() EDIT: I was just going to get an E46 3er but then I test drove and e36 M3 and was sold lol.
