New top radar detector

The new Bel RX65 is now rated as the best radar detector by radartest.com, and radar-detector.com. It beat the new Passport 8500 and the V1. At $329 it is $129 more than the previous best effort from bel, the vector 985. I guess i'll be selling my 985.

V1 is still a kick ass radar detector...tried and true technology too.

aren't both those web sites paid off by companies? funny how they say brand XXXX is better than he V1, then you get a more unbiased look at them in car mags and the V1 still cleans house. (I know car mags can be biased, but they don't seam to be blattently biased like the paid off websites)

They are VERY biased.....and yes, they are paid by companies. Goto valantines website and look under the myths and facts section....they discuss why radar test never gave V1 first, it's for very gay reasons, even though in range it blew away all the othr detectors.
