Curious, why paint the interior black? Is that some rule compliance?

IMHO wouldn't you want to keep the interior a lighter color to keep the interior heat down? Won't that black just cook?

it's not really that hot. I was driving it in Miami in 90 degree weather.

The reason I did it is because it looks a lot cleaner on the inside and I don't really have to clean the interior anymore, it's black so it never looks dirty
