RSX type S

how fast are these? i ran some guy in one on the highway today, in my stock s4, he claimed his car was stock. i dont think these cars are that fast. i pulled away from him at first, then he was dead even with me.

My girlfriend has one. It is not that fast at all. My M3 can smoke it any day without breaking a sweat. My old H2 could even beat it off the line for a little bit. So he was definately not stock if he could pull on an S4.

there's one around town that has 2 mods...a hondata ECU and a set of ITR cams, the thing is crazy fast...beats up everyone around town with the exception of a couple cars here and there.

They have a decent speed but they aren't comparable to an M3 or S4 in my opinion! My friend has an RSX S and he ran it at the track stock and got a 14.696 and now he's got the biggest head about it! But he's scared to race my cousin's 95 stock M3, so apparently they're not as great as bmw's/audi's!

how would an E30 hold up against one of those?

well, a friend of mine has a 2003 hyundai tiburon w/ intake. and he said he lost to a random type-s he saw around town. he said it beat him by about a half a car length. 0-90mph race.

yesterday i raced this tiburon in my 87 325is. (with a few healthy mods) the race went from about 10-110. and the tiburon pulled me by about 1.5 car lengths.

that should answer your question.

an e30 without many mods would get worked. a stockish e30 m3 could probably hang given equal drivers. RSX-Ss respond very well to mods though, so they can be very fast

Yea i know a guy that has one and i raced him in my cousins 02' 325Ci and was next to him the whole time and keep in mind, this was the first time the BMW had been driven by either of us, so we werent used to it yet and he had plenty of time (6 months to get used to his rsx) so i would dogg his ass now ( in the 325 ) and especialy in my M3!

325s are pretty slow, stock for stock an RSX would roll one, given similarly skilled drivers.

an e36 m3 should have an rsx unless something wierd is going on

RSX type S .. one of the most POS car I ever test drove. Noisy engine that produce no power til like 5000 rpm and awful awful brake. I ran the red light during test drive cause I couldn't stop.

stock, theyre relatively slow. its a low low 15sec car down the 1/4 mile.

theres no way a stock RSX-S can hang with even a stock S4 unless the S4 was parked.
