JM3, I don't think that's the 997 - in fact I'm 99% sure it isn't. I got a magazine months ago when I went to europe and it has pictures and info on the new car, which will have round headlights again like the older style carreras.

If you look at the first pic it does have the new round headlights, the car is very disguised in those shots. The front is taped up and the interior is all covered.

Here is another shot of it in testing at the ring with the same headlights above but with the different mirrors.
