E46 M3 convertible questions

My sister is in the market for a 2003-2004 M3 and is very interersted in the convertible. I have a 2003 M3 coupe, so I cannot give her much input as far as structural rigidity, noise levels, etc. The one thing that really worries me is the fact that a few convertibles I have driven in the past tend to squeak a lot with the top up. My worst experience occurred while driving a 99 M3 convertible that squeaked so much I would have sold it had it been mine. Do the E46 M3 convertibles make a lot of noise w/the top up or has BMW resolved this issue? Anyone who has driven or been driven in a E46 M3 convertible please post your thoughts. Thanks!
