A friend on campus has a '99 estoril blue M3 with 19" HM2s and painted moldings.. trust me it makes a huuuge difference, looks nice.

CMT- heres a novel idea for ya. i saw pictures of this on an estoril m3 coupe once, but i have no idea where.

paint your moldings black. get a coat of cosmos on it with some clear coat. no more cleaning them every week, and it will even bring out the contrast with the estoril u seem to like so much.

I can't get race seats because my shoulders are too wide at 54," so I am totally screwed. Add to that the fact that the only seats I like are $1400 a piece, and it's the double screwed.

I wish I didn't agree with you, but I do. It is a tough sell to paint them black - but I have come to realize that I need the contrast of the black against the Estoril given this new aesthetic mod that should be delivered today.
