Fun and reliable car... 95 + Nissan 240 SX, even more fun with the money you have 89+ Nissan 240 SX + sr20det motor. good luck.

Bro this is your first car, chances are you're not that great at driving (even if you think you're the next Dado or T MINUS). Getting a Turbo MR2 could only lead to disaster, even an RPS 13 could send you into a wall int he rain or after a pot hole. I say Turbo AWD Eagle Talon or 1991 Clipse GSX.

Anyway....find yourself something that is gonna be good in the snow. I had to skip school a lot cuz I couldn't get there in the snow with the E30. I'd maybe even look for a nice 325ix....All Wheel Peel in a bimmer...I think I made up your mind.

Salvage title'd vehicles only matter if you care about reselling your car. If you can verify that the car is in prefect working condition, go for it. Mod the hell out of it. But don't expect to get any money back if you try to sell it.

Personally, I'd go with an E30. A 325is is possible. It'll give you the feel for FR chassis and give you a great place to start (as it's a great car for autocrossing or driver's school). MR anf RR don't hvae great road manners when things get hairy (for inexperianced drivers). FF would work as well, but we all know those are no fun

Good Luck on you search!
