| Will Audi UUC shift knob fit E36??? bmw  audi  there is one pic... but they seem that they would sit lower on the shifter than the UUC knobs for BMW's. If not, doesn't fit, does anyonw know of a UUC knob that would sit reallly low on the shifter, so i got that shorter throw look...also so it didn't stick up like some shifter on a '89 Acura Legend

| There is only one way to find out!!! J/K. The UUC knob (RKIII) I had before had a allen screw to tighten it. It was a little loose without tightening the crew (just a little loose). It sat a little lower than the stock knob. I had a momo knob that was universal and I put some electircal tape around the rod to fit the knob on there good. The momo knob sat really low. Everyone asked what kind of SSK I had, and it was a stock shift rod!!! The AA shift knob is a good fit but also has the allen screw. It sits about the same if not a little higher. I think the knob will work fine. You might have to wrap a little electrical tape (if the knob is a little over-bored). Maybe some audi-to-bmw guy can help clarify.
