Roll CAGES Yes Legal? Or Not Legal?

I was just simpily wondering if anyone could tell me if a roll CAGE bolted in or welded in was legal for the streets. Note I am asking about a CAGE not a roll BAR!

from what i know in nj its perfectly legal.. shit might even lower your insurance premiums

I think that in Virginia it is illegal to have a roll cage in a street car. It is also illegal to have a harness I believe. VA......

roll cages are supposed to be part of a system. using just one component of a system is never ideal.
