X5 4.6is: Imola Red vs. Estoril Blue .. which is nicer?

saw the 4.6 on TV in imola red, the thing looks sick, estoril blue is played out for the X5

estoril is my fav bmw color, but my vote goes to imola on this one becuase it looks so damn good on the x5

I love red cars (ferrari ) but I love the way the x5 looks in white with the front bumber painted white. I cant find a pic.. but if I do will tell you waht i mean.

I saw the 4.8 at the LA car show 355bhp i think. I dont know when its comming out but worth looking in to.

well the 4.6is didnt come in white.. which i actually would consider if it did, i like white X5's.

estoril blue did not come on any trim of X5 other than the 4.6is. The 4.4's and 3.0's had a Topaz blue, so the Estoril blue is far from 'played out'

4.6's only came in Sapphire Black, Titanium Silver, Imola Red, and Estoril Blue

i LOVE the way the red looks with the matchin interior trim.,.. but then again the blue looks equally as good.. such a tough choice when you see them in person

as for the 4.8.. i saw some pictures of it and looked at the specs.. to me its not as special as i thought it would be. for one, i saw pictures of it having the chrome window trim (which i hate) and a very ODD looking front bumper.. not too appealing

imola red is much nicer and less seen than estoril imo.

Forget the 4.6.. Get in line for the 4.8is

whats so good about the 4.8 that i should get in line for? is it worth the extra 10-20 grand that its gonna cost over the 4.6?

4.8is has the new engine with reports of closer to 400HP.
X-Drive: true AWD
New, more aggressive (to me at least) looking front bumper.

But I'm not sure the cost difference warrants waiting for it since you can get a 4.6is for considerably less.

Personally, the Imola is the "hotter" of the two colours. Especially if you can find one with the matching interior trim.

those are little things.. not worth the wait or money IMO..
