What would you do?

Suppose, you have a 325 Coupe.
Now that car is going to leave.
Options for the replacement.

1: Buy a nice BMW M3 E36 with 321 Hp, then buy supercharger and make it a really nice fast car.

2: Buy a E46 330 Ci. for the money.

The thing is, that I really enjoy the BMW E36 325 Coupe, however I'm struggling with two things.
Power, and newer car.
I have only once the oppertunity to spend the money. So E36 with extra's or just a 330Ci E46?
