V1 saved me and a few others

I was heading down to Charlottesville, VA to see my gf at the University of VA. Well there are about 3 cars behind me and I was behind someone else. I know that there are usually cops behind this hill but I thought if there were the V1 would tell me. So all of a sudden I am approaching this mount in the median and V1 gives me an alert of 3-4 so I slow down. The car infront of me keeps going. We were going about 65-70 in a 55. The townee cops are really anal though because they nabbed my dad before for going 70mph but he got off. The 2 cars behind me were all in the right lane and slowed with me. The third car a mercedes C class was passing people and I saw the popo pull out and nab him. He was using K and I am glad to have helped at least two people from getting tickets. I can't afford anymore tickets but it's hard to not go 65 in a 55. 55mph feel so slow.

damn 65 feels slow as hell to me, let alone 55

Well 65 does feel slow but 55 feels like your not moving.

when you drive 120+ once a week, even 65 seems slow..

hopefully they'll move it to 70mph soon

They won't ever change the speed limit to 70 on route 29 since it has crossover roads. 70mph probably won't ever be seen in VA period

ummm in case you don't know insurance companys pay alot of money to political campaigns and in return they get low speed limits where we all know the limit should be higher. don't get me wrong im sure speed limits have saved lives but when there to low its got to change. the other kick back is when you get a speeding conviction the insurance company can hike your rate up higher then your girl friend thong and you can't do shit but take it

Why sell cars that go over 100MPH in the States, if you're going 55 or even 65MPH in a Euro, what fun is that? You're not even enjoying the car, might as well go buy a Kia, lol. Or a faster car so that by the time the cops get oriented that you're speeding, you'll be long gone.
