European Delivery on 3xi?

Hey everyone. Reservations already started in Germany for the 2006 Worldcup, and I'm planning on booking a trip there. I'm also looking to buy a new car by that time, and saw the past threads on the european delivery option, although BMW's website's link to it doesn't work anymore. I was wondering if it was cost-beneficial to buy a 3-series xi over there. I saw the past threads where you guys brought M's over (and of course that makes sense with the govenors and stuff), but was wondering if I should consider booking this trip with the intention of doing the european delivery? Any advice?

Plus I can finally join you guys and your vids with all my car mounted video equipment.

Basically, you get a free trip to Europe with the savings you get by doing European delivery.

And you don't get a European version of the car if you are from the States contrary to what you think.

As an Ex BMW salesman I would say you do save on the Price and get to pick up an all german bmw at the German Delivery Facility and thats cool. But there have been some problems with Euro Deliveries like when you get there your ordered car might
be wrong. And it is a hassel to fill out the paperwork. Then you have to wait for the car when it ships back 6-8 Weeks.
But you will recieve great treatment and be able to drive on the auto ban and get euro plates.. It's an experience..
BTW they don't do M3 Euro Deliveries anymore . To many
People were crashing there cars lol
