would it fit? that doesnt make sense....a e46 m3 spoiler fitting on a e36 sedan, or a e39 m5 spoiler fitting on my car...I know there are websites out there that sell this lip spoiler specifically for the e36's, but i cant remember what they are...I was hoping somebody knew.

I got an M5 lip spoiler on ebay for like $45 bucks, ABS and a friend painted it for me. fit is great, covers the trunk lid to about an 1/8 th inch from the edge on both ends....

Very easy to put on. Look around for one. I really like it...

the M5 lip fits sedans, M3 lip fits coupes.. probably buy them from the dealer
