| Another fuked up BMW this winter (mine)... I turned a litttle to fast and skidded and hit the curb pretty quick. My friend says my tires were too low, I figured 3mm was fine, obviously not. Another interesting thing was that DSC didnt flash showing that it was going on. My front control arm is FUBAR and barley holding on and bent as hell. My rim is screwed to all hell. My fender and bumper need to be replaced. Those are the damages I can SEE... I have pics if anyone wants to host them...

| oh well, good luck. Take it to the most reputable shop, don't use some douche bag shop that they contract with to do the work

| OK, so its not that bad. Your tread depth looks fine, dont kid yourself, this was driver error ![]() You have a bent/curbed wheel, mushed up bumper, bent fender/rocker, bent control arm, and you ripped the control arm bushing out of the mount. This is just what I can see, you likely bent the strut housing, and misc suspension links also. DSC wouldnt be flashing if you understeered into a curb, and the rear tires were perfectly happy, it was the fronts that lost their hold. (assuming this is what happened, which it looks to be) |

| I had an accident similar to yours, but i was goin a bit faster. Damages cost me a total of $4900. I too thought that maybe its just the rims and fender, but when they took my car apart, it was a whole lot more damage. I'd take it to a BMW body shop. I told them i wouldnt have a problem paying all that $ aslong as the car would drive like it did when it was new, and they gave me their guarantee that it would.
