Check Engine Light!! HELP!!

Ok.. so i was headin over to church today, and on about 10mn into the drive, on the freeway my check engine light comes on, so i pulled over, poped hood open, and checked around for any defects, and none visible defects were seen. Now i headed back to my house and the engine check is still on.. I am wondering where can i get one of those "Engine Check Code Tools" for a obd1 325is ?? would kragen, autozone, or pepboys have it ?? please help i need to try to get this fixed before tommorow, i got skool all the way in LA.. its about a 70mile drive.. thanks.

That was a sign from god that you are not welcome in his house. j/k
Get it to your mechanic, he should have the tool.
Bav auto and lots of other stores sell a tool to check the light.
If the car drives fine, dont worry about it. You still can make that 70mile drive.

ya.. i wat i did was disconnect (+) terminal on battery.. and recoonectred and the light is now gone, been driving for abtou 110miles yesterday and light still hasnt come back on, and car does not feel out of the ordinary. I also found out how to check the engine code without the expensive tool, using the pedal trick.. well so far so good, let you know when anyting goes wrong
