Would A 1.5 inch clean cut gash on the side of ur tire mean some1 stabbed ur tire?

Well, considering most neighborhoods in Calgary have signs around the area, and everyone has tags to use in front of their homes... It isn't too much of a surprise, if your car doesn't belong, it doesn't surprise me much.

Don't you guys have parking passes down there? My HS only had 400 and we had 1900 students, but still, people found other places to park that weren't in everyone's way.

In highschool I didn't get a parking pass but still parked my E34 behind the school in front of the houses there - there were signs that said parking wasn't allowed, but I parked in front of a fellow bimmer owner's house. One day my usual spot was taken so I parked in front of the next house up. When I left school and was getting into my car some 35-ish lady comes up to me and says 'excuse me...' so I turn around to talk to her, then she starts telling me 'you can't park here because...' and kept going on, I just turned around, shut my door, started my car and drove off.

For the next month (last month of school) I parked smack dab in the middle of her front yard, I also got a friend who drives a pickup to park in front of her house, neither of us got any tickets. In that case the other side of the school (by the front) was really enforced, but not behind it... You might find a similar situation around your school, some neighborhoods will ticket every slight infraction, while parking in another neighborhood will not result in a ticket.

if you parked in front of my house i'd be pissed too

Yea remember that story of that one who got out of her car and just shot a guy for yelling at her while she was drving! I guess the guy didn't like how she was driving and said something so at a stop she got out and shot him. It went something like that I can't remember it too well but watch out lol.....

...But yea if you parked infront of my house I'd be pissed to (mainly if there is a rule against it!), however that doesn't give me a right to stab your tire....at the same time I don't have to worry about this because there is no parking on my street(got a big drive way

) and I don't live near a HS.

But yea....that sucks quality tires are not cheap at all! doh I'm due for some myself =(, not for a bit thought

My car was only parked in front of the house for a few hours, between 8AM and 12PM - if you purchase a home directly across from a high school you are aware of what this entails (in regards to band practice, soccer games, parking, etc.), if you get pissed off for having a car parked in front of your house for 4 hours during Monday-Friday (when you should be at work) you have a problem...

I totally agree about the living near a high school part...you should know what you are getting into, and I can only really see people getting mad if their home does not have a driveway of anykind. I can only see myself getting mad if there was a rule against students doing that otherwise I hope the person who lives there would have that about it before buying the home. Oh and one more thing, not everyone's job is 9-5 or hourly.

(not that I have the problem stated above, thankfully).

I know it is a bad feeling when someone does that or anything like it. I how it is not too much of a touble to you...care take out there.
