What do you think 235/35/17 or 235/40/17

Why mess up your speedo? Go with the correct size (I'm guessing for the 318 you list as your car).

40 IMO is too big, go with 35's...

I got 40's and they are low enough and the look sick. I already bend a wheel, i could just imagine what the 35's would do to the wheel. I would go with the 40's.

My stock tire size is 205/60/15 because I am still on the little rims.

your correct tire size to keep the gear ratios as close to the same as possible would be to go with the 225/40/17's. This will give you the better handling over the 35's, more reliability, and keep your speedo workin like it shoud.

one inch up is ten down on the profile..so if you got 60 profile and 15" rims and wwants 17"'s you should get 60-10-10=40. Thats atleast the only legal way in Norway if you don't mess with the speedo and sh*t.. And they are more comfortable. And you'll save the rims if you get close to something (even though you shouldn't with 40 profile either )
