| Information for people asking about Laser Jammers http://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/sh...hreadid=151352 We are commencing a GB on the laser jammers from Lidatek. The Lidatek is a great unit. I am NOT a vendor (to the mods) -- so, hopefully this thread will not be deleted. Audiworld did a write-up on the old LE-20 unit ... here it is: http://www.audiworld.com/news/03/lidatek/content.shtml The M5 guys love this unit. It is 1/3 off the price (www.lidatek.com). One unit = $350.00 (so 1/3 off that price). If you want an additional transponder, add $99. Thus, take 1/3 off $450.00. It's a great deal. Don't ask stupid questions ... please read through everything first. I believe 99.9% of your questions will be answered if you do. If you wanted protection from laser, I would highly recommend this unit. This and the V1 should give you the best protection you could have, other than not to speed. James |

| I get clocked at least once a week on Rt 9 in CT on my way home. I have been lucky so far, I may have to invest in one of these.

| More and more cops are using Laser these days. Believe it or not, it's easier to use than radar. Radar sends out a wide-ass beam ... where sometimes, you are not sure if it picked the right car. A laser is instant, accurate, and no defense really without a jammer/diffuser. If your V1 detector goes off, it just means you are SOL ... |
