| Possible to polish lips of rims??? Hey all, i was wondering if it is possible to get the lips on your rims polished to a mirror finish? right now i have a machined polish on my lips, but i was wondering if i could go somewhere(i live in westchester, ny) to go and get them shiny polished like HRE wheels and iForged. | Better do it yourself. Time and patience is the key. And it's not like chrome. You'll have to feed it to keep the Showroom mirror finish Sand with 600 grid, then 1200 and 1500 (with water) The result will be as you wish and this will be a good reason to buy a rotary tool ![]() (dremel with 5 speed is the one i use) Anyway here's the god of polishing Polish made easy This guy used Heavy hardware on an Intake. But for my lips i hand sanding them myself and i used a dremel with foam pad with Two kind of compound.

| Ah, thanks for the help guys. I guess my winter break might be a good time to do this since i am taking my wheels off for the winter. Just curious though, i just had knee surgery and i am not very crafty so if i were to go somewhere, where should i go and how much do you think they would charge??? Thanks for the info. -Heath |
