BIKE or S/C M3???

this isnt now...but im hoping to save up enuf by next summer to get either a bike....or mod out my m3....i figure since my M is already a 95 and has 106k....even tho i put on a s/c it wont pull in that much in terms of resale value...so it will be a waste...

if i do get a bike i was thinking of either the suzuki TL1000s...kawasaki zx-7r....or if i really save up enuf..a bmw r series....
a bike on the other hand...theres another vehicle i have to insure...but then i can save milage on my car and pay less for gas....

decisions decisions.....any suggestions?

BMW R-1100S

I really dont see the need for this bike unless your a big person (no offense if its the case)... why buy a wanna be crotchrocket w/ a vtwin? Why no just buy a gsxr1000, sooo much more fun not to mention the frame is rediculously stronger and can be stunted if you want to.

The only vtwin that wasnt a crusier id buy would be a ducati just cause they handle like mad.

yea...im actually kinda???small....but i love the v-twin rumble....and i heard the vtwins have mad crazy torque....i was also thinking about the ducatti's but thet're WAY pver my price range unless i get a ducatti monster.....

oh yea..and newyorkm3...i prolly would buy ur bike off u...but i dont want to have to deal with shipping it...and a 800mile ride home would kill me....hehe...

but seriously...u all would rather get a bike rather than drop $5k in ur car to get 350+hp??? i was sorta expecting more towards the car than the bike...wat are ur reasons?

Well, here is how I see it.
Get a bike will add more money on the ins. bill, not good for long term savings.
Is the M payed for? if so, a small investment would make you love your car again,
The way I see it, you want to sell your M3 in the future? [hence you are worried on the amount of Miles it has], it would be not so good of an investment to go FI since you will loose money on the sell.
It's kinda difficult to decide and if it were me on this situation, I would invest on a everyday beater to drive arround [exactly what I'm doing at the moment] since winter is comming soon.
But If I had the $$ next year for summer time, I would def. get a bike, a BMW bike.....

I absolutely love the new R1s, but its way too fast for me, i'd definately kill myself.

An R6 perhaps? My friend has one, its unbelieveably fast...well compared to the M that is.

Top reasons you want a bike

1. It is the closest man has come to becomming 1 with the machine
2. You will look at the road as never before
3. You will feel the road like never before
4. You will smile everytime....yes..everytime
5. You will learn to see things before they happen in traffic (which will carry over to your driving)
6. You will experience attention from women like never before...regardless of your past history with them.
7. You will never need mental therapy, it clears your head everytime you ride
8. We only go around once, and anyone who enjoys motorsport should experience 155+ mph tucked behind a windscreen on a moon-lit summer night.
