Losing the OEM love... time for an aftermarket affair...

Anyways... I'm not feeling the love for the poor quality sound in my 97 328is w/ HK audio upgrade. I hate to do it, but I'm wanting to upgrade to a high quality aftermarket deck.

I'm looking for something that is IDENTICAL in color (when illuminated at night) to the stock BMW illumination. Any suggestions? Any suggestions for something with fantastic audio reproduction?!

I have the Pioneer Premier DEH-P940 ... and Ive had it for well over a year and 2 cars, although the buttons light up perfect blue and the screen is a more blue/slightly green and I dont know what color your lookin for.
It really is a great HU tho, it also plays MP3 or WMA CDs

Its not all flashy like some HUs its real low key, which I like, and it has unbelievable sound ... I replaced the stock radio in my Tundra and it made the stock speakers sound so amazing even my GF noticed

Nakamichi decks match pretty well too. there's some clarion decks that have a ton of colors, one is bound to match

Search for amber illumination when looking for decks, because thats what matches.

no prob... its a hot head unit... the biolite display is clean and classic not like a million colors, just white and its really bright even during the day. has a shit load of functions also..
