| Your power lead is wrong. It's supposed to attach to the bult inside of the positve housing... You can disconnect the top of the plastic case and attach the lead, then just file a little hole so that the wire doesnt get pinched

![]() more pics for clarity http://www.members.shaw.ca/simon138/home/dde/wires/ ive pluged the yellow/green (low beam) into #3, white w/ green (high beam) into #4 and brown + brown into #1 -nathan |

| the city light plug #2 doesn't needed to be wired in right? it should be independent of the high beam.. -nathan heres a pic of what i mean, w/ the high beam bulb acting as a day time running Last edited by Nathan : 11-22-2003 at 10:46 AM. |

| Hmm, it seems as though the pins arent pushed far enough into connectors. I got this at first when I was installing my ellipsoids, make sure the pins go way into the connector, a little past flush on the headlight side. Connect it and start the headlights... if you are getting the same problem, just take your finger and wiggle the wires a bit... also, you know that the numbers go counter clockwise looking from the wireside, meaning 2 is on the right not the left.... post again if you have more probs

| did the same for passenger side #1=2 grounds #2=empty #3=low beam #4=hi beam.. same thing, the hi beam acts as a day time running light.. i don't understand.. the connector has 4 prongs.. 1 for every source of power.. why would they send power to the hi beam when i havn't turned on the high beam? when i take the #4 out,, the high beam is out.. more pics here http://www.members.shaw.ca/simon138/home/dde/pass_side/ -nathan |

| hmm i used plyers and held the wire,, then pushed the connector down.. hoping to get the pins higher up.. didn't really move.. .. i pluuged em in hoping it did move up.. and nothing.. or are u refering to the actual Copper wires that went into the connector pins? because i bought the pins and then crimped copper wires into them myself.. the dealer only had the pins.. -nathan |

| Those look good... try sliding the pins farther up so they are sticking out a bit past the plastic. Sometimes when you connect the plug, the pins slide down and dont make a good connection. Once you do that, just wiggle the wires with your hand from the inside of the hood when its connected.....
